Social Solidarity Ministry distributes Eid cookies nationwide to support vulnerable families

The Ministry of Social Solidarity announced that food distribution points across the country handed out Eid cookies to people in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, as part of efforts to support vulnerable groups and promote social protection. The move is part of ongoing “Feeding Initiative” during Ramadan, which provides daily hot meals to families in need and creates job opportunities for female breadwinners. The ministry said the initiative is implemented in partnership with NGOs and major programs, including “Abwab El Kheir,” in cooperation with Tahya Misr Fund and the Egyptian Red Crescent. A total of 286 partners contributed to distributing meals through more than 1,400 food points nationwide, as part of broader efforts to enhance food security and social solidarity.
