Sky Abu Dhabi Developments has acquired a 75-feddan plot in the Sixth Settlement area, as part of the company’s expansion strategy in East Cairo. The company plans to launch a mixed-use development on the site in 2026, combining residential and commercial components. The project aims to deliver an integrated community that responds to rising market demand for developments offering housing and services within a single destination. Abdel Rahman Ajami, CEO and Managing Director of Sky Abu Dhabi Developments, said the acquisition reflects the company’s long-term approach to land selection, which is based on market trends and potential investment value. He added that the project will be developed according to modern urban planning principles while maintaining high standards of quality. The company has previously developed projects in East Cairo, including the Blue Tree project in Golden Square, as well as developments in the New Administrative Capital such as Residence Eight and its commercial district, Capital Avenue. Sky Abu Dhabi Developments has also expanded to the North Coast with the Sky North project, which spans 430 feddans in Ras El Hekma. Sky Abu Dhabi Developments, a subsidiary of Diamond Group, is a UAE-based real estate developer that has delivered more than 17 projects across the UAE. The company entered the Egyptian market in 2021 and has since built a portfolio that includes residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
