Maritime traffic and port operations across the Red Sea Ports Authority are ongoing normally, despite continued precautionary measures to handle the adverse weather conditions. The Red Sea Ports Authorities have maintained a high level of preparedness to ensure operational efficiency and safe navigation, while Hurghada Port remains temporarily closed until weather conditions improve. In a statement issued on Thursday, 26/3/2026, the authority said that a total of 12 vessels are currently docked at its ports. A total of 2,500 tons of goods were handled at the port, along with 387 trucks and 42 cars. The imported items totaled 1,500 tons, including 341 trucks and 37 cars, according to the authority.
