North Sinai Governor Khaled Megawer said that strong ties and a spirit of brotherhood unite Egyptians, particularly in North Sinai, noting that this is evident during national and religious occasions. The governor made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the North Sinai Diocese at the governorate headquarters in Arish, where they extended Eid al-Fitr greetings. The delegation conveyed greetings from Bishop Kosman and the church’s members. Father Gabriel Ibrahim said that relations between Muslims and Christians in Egypt are based on mutual respect and shared participation in religious occasions.
