Military Production Minister explores strategic cooperation with Egyptian Arab Land Bank

Salah Suleiman Gemblat, Minister of State for Military Production, met with Medhat Qamar, Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Arab Land Bank, and Mohamed Ashmawy, the bank’s Non-Executive Chairperson, along with their accompanying delegation, at the ministry’s headquarters in the Government District of the New Administrative Capital. During the meeting, Gemblat said discussions focused on potential areas of joint cooperation across several fields. The two sides explored opportunities to benefit from the banking services offered by the Egyptian Arab Land Bank, as well as the possibility of establishing strategic partnerships and collaborative projects that would serve mutual interests and provide added value to Military Production companies and employees of entities affiliated with the ministry. Gemblat underscored the ministry’s openness to cooperation with various entities and institutions in a manner that enhances integration, supports national industry, and contributes to sustainable development objectives. For his part, Medhat Qamar commended the Ministry of Military Production’s role as a key national industrial arm operating in both the military and civilian spheres. He highlighted the ministry’s advanced manufacturing, technological, technical and human capabilities, noting their importance in supporting national development efforts. Qamar also reviewed the bank’s areas of operation and its strategy to strengthen its position in the financing sector while supporting local and Arab communities through a diversified portfolio of banking services. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to designate contact points from the Ministry of Military Production and the Egyptian Arab Land Bank to further define priority areas of cooperation. The bank is expected to submit proposals for joint initiatives in several areas, including deposits, corporate credit facilities and retail banking services.
