The advisor to the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Ibrahim Jabari, announced on Monday that Iran had closed the Strait of Hormuz and will threat to ‘burn’ any ship attempting to pass through it. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard had announced on Sunday that it had targeted three oil tankers belonging to the United States and Britain with missiles in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
