Egyptian consulates abroad host Ramadan Iftars for expatriate communities

Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad continued organizing Ramadan iftar gatherings for Egyptian communities as part of efforts to strengthen ties with expatriates and celebrate the holy month. In a statement on Saturday, 14/3/2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the events reflect the spirit of solidarity and national belonging, as well as the state’s commitment to supporting Egyptians living abroad. The gatherings also provided an opportunity for direct engagement with members of the Egyptian communities to hear their proposals on strengthening connections with the homeland. Discussions during the meetings also focused on ways to facilitate consular services, while emphasizing the important role played by Egyptian communities in representing Egypt and fostering relations with host countries.
