The Office for the Regulation of Terrorist Entities and Terrorists, chaired by Counselor Tariq Abu Zeid, issued a decree to permanently designate three prominent leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood on the national terrorism list. The individuals named are Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, Sayed Mahmoud Ezzat Ibrahim, and Moaz Mansour Mansour al-Sharkawy. This designation follows a final and non-appealable judicial ruling convicting them of the charges brought against them, in accordance with the Law on Terrorist Entities and the Regulation of Terrorist Lists. The decree is part of the standard legal proceedings executed against individuals subject to final convictions. Under the governing law, inclusion on the terrorism list triggers a series of mandatory legal consequences and restrictions applicable to all persons designated following a final judicial verdict.
